June 23/24, 2007 - Vermont Vintage Vehicle Show - St Albans, Vermont

On the weekend of June 23/24, 2007 I brought the car to its first show, which has held by the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts Link at the Collins-Pearly Complex in St. Albans, Vermont. The car suprisingly won Post-War Best of show.

Here I am standing infront of the car.

August 12/13, 2007 - 50th Annual Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet - Stowe, Vermont

On the weekend August 12/13, 2007 I brought the car to the largest car show in Vermont, the Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet, which is also held by the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts. 2007 was the 50th Anniversary of the Stowe car show. I took Best in Class. Another great weekend for Groovy Green.

Back in August 2003 I took my previous 1969 Mustang restoration project to the Stowe Show and took Best in Class with that car as well. As an interesting side note, 2003 was the 50th Anniversary of the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts.

Its always easy to spot Groovy Green in a crowd. The color really makes it stand out.

Fall 2007 - Dutch Mustang Club

In the Fall of 2007 Groovy Green appeared in volume 3 of the quarterly publication of the Dutch Mustang Club. The article was on Limited Edition 600 Mustangs.

August 14/15, 2010 - 53rd Annual Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet - Stowe, Vermont

Groovy Green took two seasons off from the Stowe Antique and Classic Car Show simply because the field was very muddy for two seasons.

The field was dry for 2010, so Groovy Green made another appearance. It won Best In Class once again.

August 13/14, 2011 - 54th Annual Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet - Stowe, Vermont

The field was dry once again for 2012, so Groovy Green made yet another appearance. It won Best In Class for the third time. Having one twice consecutively and being a 95 point or better car for both instances ment that Groovy Green qualified to be in the senior class the following season.

August 11/12, 2012 - 55th Annual Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet - Stowe, Vermont

Groovy Green was parked with the rest of the senior class cars at the head of the show. Judging was more stringent here. If it was not still a 95+ point car, it would be kicked out of the senior class and would have to win best in class twice more to qualify again. It was close, it won its senior award and it also received the 2nd place for the junior judges award.

During the juding I was informed that I would have to redetail my exhaust manifolds to stay in the class for the next season. This task is pretty easy on this car.

August 10/11, 2013 - 56th Annual Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet - Stowe, Vermont

Groovy Green with its freshly redetailed engine compartment received its second senior award.

June 6/7/8, 2014 - Ford Nationals - Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Groovy Green will be appearing in building T at the Ford Nationals in Carlisle, PA as part of the display of special edition Mustangs during the Mustang 50th Anniversary celebration. Check out their website here www.carsatcarlisle.com. Groovy Green will have a lot of great company and will be parked alongside Don Hughmanick's Flower Power Red Limited Edition 600 Mustang.

August 9/10, 2014 - 57th Annual Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet - Stowe, Vermont

Groovy Green will be making another appearance at the Stowe Antique and Classic Car Meet. Look for it in the senior class.
