I got this one for $1200. It is an original Groovy Green Limited Edition 600 Mustang sportsroof that was part of a special promotion that has held in the Philadelphia area in the Spring of 1969. It is one of the 508 cars that were producted for this promotion. Out of the 508 cars it has been reported that no more than 180 of the cars were painted Green and less than half of those cars were sportsroofs. Most of which were 6 cylinder cars, which makes this car pretty rare.

This particular one was recovered from a New Jersey salvage yard where many parts were stripped from it. It was rescued by Edward Broomall of New Jersey in hopes of restoring it, but he changed his mind after acquiring a 1970 Mach I. I found it listed for sale at the Vintage Mustang Forum. I also found that it was listed in the Limited Edition 600 Registry. After looking at the pictures that Ed sent me, I decided to buy it because of its rarity and its unusual color.

Look at the restoration process.
finished
Here is a picture of the finished product. It took 3 years to get it to look like this.
