I found this car sitting in an old lady's car port. It was filled to the
roof with junk that had accumulated over 25 years. It had not been on the road
since 1967. It has less than 60,000 miles on it. I got the car for $1500. I had been eyeing this
car for years ever since I got my other one. Imagine, a matching pair Hardtop and Convertible !
The old lady was the original owner. She bought got it in 1959 and used it as her honeymoon car.
She was very eccentric. I had to help her sort through all of the junk. It took me 14 hours and
2 truck loads.

| Suprisingly the motor turned over beautifully. I flushed the fuel system
and replaced the plugs, wires, roter, distributer cap and points. It still didn't
run. I am in dire need of a parts car to restore this car. There were only 7,514
produced, so a restoration is a must for this car. |
